Day 2 - Home Sweet Home

Still on California time, we slept in and spent most of our day in and around the condo.

After lunch at an exotic little cantina called Adobe Gila's (where we expect that we were the only patrons to recognize the name's play on Dobie Gillis), we hit the local store to stock up on water, snacks and other sundries for the condo along with the fixings for tonight's dinner. We'll let our personal chef Vonna describe the menu: I started the first night off with a home made bolognese sauce and pasta with a side salad and green beans.

We checked out the condo Clubhouse, which has a pool, hot tub, several pool tables and video games, as well as a 20 or so seat theater. We might take advantage of reserving the theater to screen something before we're gone, but they have to replace the bulb in their projector (they also have a 60" plasma screen, which looks ridiculously small in the theater setting).

As has become a tradition, John recorded an interview with our friends at the ForceCast podcast discussing our upcoming appearance at Star Wars Celebration V.

We closed out the night with a screening of Adventureland and an episode of Who's Line Is It Anyway on the in-condo 50" plasma.

Tomorrow comes early, as we make our first trip into a larger world: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter!
